Cory Ephram Joseph is a Canadian professional basketball player. He was born on August 20th 1991 in Toronto, Canada. Cory with his exceptional skills, and competitive spirit has become favorite among fans. Cory is the youngest child of his four siblings. He is currently playing for Golden State Warriors in the NBA.

The father of Cory Joseph is David Joseph and his mother is Connie Joseph. David and Connie both were former college basketball players. David Joseph has worked as a professional basketball coach in different high-schoold and other professional levels.

On other hand, Connie Joseph has also coached various teams and served as a referee in many basketball games.

David Joseph and Connie Joseph were born in Trinidad and Tobago. He came to Canada in 1960s. Canadian government then welcomes immigrants from Caribbean and other under-developed countries.

The knowledge of David and Connie has helped Cory Joseph beginning from his early career. Cory started playing basketball in his early childhood, which helped him in his career and become fans favorite.

Early Life

Cory Joseph was born in Toronto, Canada and grew up playing basketball. He started playing basketball under the influence of his parents. He was trained by his parents and then attended Pickering High School. His skills and ability to defend made him recognize among the school players. He was well known for his skills during his years playing in the high-school.

Later Cory joined University of Texas, and played 36 games in his freshman season. Cory only played one year for Texas before he got draftedin NBA.

NBA Career

In 2011, Cory Joseph was drafted as a 29th overall pick by San Antonio Spurs. In the first year, Cory was just learning from the coaches and his team mates. In 2012 he started playing with Austin Toros, and played for three times with them. During this time Cory learned a lot and when he returned to the team he stood strong as a starting point guard.

His ability and skills helped the team to reach 2013 finals, but unfortunately team lost to Miami Heat in the final series of the NBA. But the team didn’t give up and not did Cory Joseph. Coaches and all the players worked really hard, and again they were through to the finals of the NBA 2014.

Now again with same team (Miami Heats), with big names in basketball world. But Spurs, were ready to defeat the Heats, and won the Final series by 4-1.

After that Cory has joined several teams in the NBA, like Sacramento Kings, Indiana Pacers, Toronto Raptors, and Detroit Pistons. Now in July 2023, Cory was drafted with Golden State Warriors.

Throughout his career, Joseph has been praised for his work ethic, leadership, and unselfish play. His contribution to the teams he has played for is a testament to his skills and determination.
